What A Lazy Day

As usual its just an ordinary day with my son and me. We woke up late around 11 am, eat brunch and back to bed again..lol..Good thing is that my son love to sleep in this cold weather we took a nap for 4 hours and eat again.The lil one is now so busy playing with his toys while I am busy browsing internet especially FB. Trey will be home in few minutes so I need to get up my ass to cook dinner. I will just cook sausage and some beans for the side. So that's all for now friends. Happy weekend everyone.

Its 25 degrees

Yes, It's freaking cold. My son and I got up so late because we still denied to got up from a warm blanket but we need too I need to feed my baby. Right now I am enjoying my electric blanket on my lap while browsing the web while I just let my baby play with the Christmas tree on and off the light. I am not feeling well to chase him around so I just let him do what he want to do. This cold weather really make me sick and I always suffer a headache now and then. Will I need to put my baby now to take a nap and myself.

My Big Boy

Time flies so fast like how my son grew up. It's almost 2 years that I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. He always been so busy exploring the things around him that make me so busy too. I'm just so thankful to GOD that Matthew is smart and healthy baby boy. I cant even wait he will go to school,he is so smart that he can easily catch what he heard.But for no I am enjoying his company and I will treasure the moments with him. I love him so much.

Puto(Steamed Rice Muffins)



2 cups rice flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
¾ cup sugar
a pinch of salt
2 cups coconut milk
2 tablesppon water
1 tablespoon anise extract, (optional)

  • Blend flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add milk and water, and anise extract, if using, mix until smooth. Fill prepared cups 2/3 full and steam in rapidly boiling water for 20 minutes. Serve hot with butter or shredded fresh coconut.

Puto Cheese


I was craving for puto cheese so decide to make some today. It was turn good and yummy. Very simple recipe that you family surely like and love. Enjoy.


4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
6 eggs
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups water
2 1/4 cups Edam cheese, shredded



DIRECTIONS
Grease small cake, puto molds, or ramekins for use in a steamer. Mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder together in a bowl. In a separate, large bowl, scramble the eggs with the evaporated milk and water. Fold the dry mixture into the eggs until evenly blended. Fill the prepared molds 2/3 of the way up with the batter and top with shredded cheese.
Fill a wok or a sauce pan that will hold a steamer basket with a few inches of water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Place the molds into a steamer basket and place over the boiling water and cover.
Steam until a toothpick inserted in the center of one of the putos comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and serve warm or at room temperature.

Craving for Pandesal

Its been a while my last time I ate pandesal back in the Philippines. I am craving on it so badly. I wishe I can bake it now but unfortunately I dont have a yeast. Well, My first time to do on my list tomorrow will be going to buy the yeast and bake the pandesal. I will post the result tomorrow. For now I need to go to bed and I need to watch my son temperature he is not feeling well. Goodnight everyone.
